Responsibilities:


  • Facilitating and supporting the implementation of the customer designed solution within MNS

  • Design and implement technical network solution for Managed Router Solution clients on the company's Network

  • Coordinate, design and implement both logical and physical changes to Cisco/Juniper based IP networks

  • Interact with both internal and external AT&T resources to complete provisioning tasks

  • Utilize and update circuit and network management databases in conjunction with the provisioning process


Job Qualifications:

 

Required technical skills:


  • PC literate with experience of a range of software packages

  • Knowledge of communication technologies and networking technologies e.g. TCP / IP, Routing protocols, LAN, WAN technologies and specifications.

  • Detailed knowledge of Routers, Bridges, Multiplexers, and Switches

  • Experience with Cisco router configurations or Cisco Certification (CCNA is required, CCNP or CCIP is highly desirable) or 2-5 years direct support experience working with Cisco based networks

  • VOICE, WLAN, Juniper, network optimization or other experience with other networking

 

Other requirements:


  • Fluent English language communication skills are required including proficient writing ability

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining output quality

  • The ability to interact on the phone with customers and their peers during the implementation and problem determination process. Prior experience interfacing directly with customers, project managers, internal organizations and US based local exchange companies is desired
